okay, first, we have two choice's for the car, a 1988 firebird (already have) or possibly a metro, will have to buy. which has the best transeit response?
second, we will probably be using 4 12" L7 squares and 2 dei amps. each amp is rated a 50 wrms @ 4 ohms. a partner can get them decently priced. how big a box for each?
we will be running a cap for each amp and probably a battery for each as well.
we are trying for 165 plus. any advice and idea's will be helpfull.

im thinking that 50w rms for 2 subs im guessing....im not sure how loud your going to be able to get w/ that...but who knows....w/ the proper box.....anyways...good luck...let us know how it turns out....now if you mis typed that and meant 500 wrms...that sounds a little better...

that is the rating at 4 ohms. at 1 ohm it's closer to 1500 wrms. usaci rules use the amps rating at 4 ohms. by using an amp such as these allows you to compete in a lower wattage class.
anyway, we are thinking of using cadance ultradrive z amps. same rating. at the cape show a car with 2 15" mmats juggs hit 157.1 with a cadance on each voice coil. has anyone else used or heard anything of these amps?
as far as a car goes, we are thinking of walling off a 198something couger we can get for about $100. what'ya think zane?
