It's that time again folks. Upgrades are due, and in my opinion, needed for the entire site. I've finally got some time to work on this a bit more and have started some of the minor forum upgrades today, as you may have noticed. I'll try to keep the site up as much as possible, however, there's a lot that's going to be updated here, so expect random downtime on the forums and the site throughout the remainder of the month of September. Please be patient and continue checking back if you are unable to access some area's of the site from time to time. As always, if you have any questions or concerns about the upgrades, the site, or in general; shoot me a PM here or e-mail me at webmaster@soundwavescs.net Thank you for your support!! -zane Administrator/Webmaster www.soundwavescs.net

I've added some new features to the forums for increased efficiency and coolness. Karma:[/u] Basically this is your public status as rated by other members. Karma appears under your Username in posts. Users can increase other members karma by selecting the "Exalt" tab, or decrease a members karma by selecting the "Smite" tabe. Be honest and fair with your karma ratings! This addition is for fun only. Abuse it, and it's gone. Quick Reply:[/u] Self Explanatory. There is now a Quick Reply Text Box at the bottom of each thread. You may reply to the specific thread here instead of clicking the reply button. Topic Summary:[/u] A cool feature similar to V-Bulletin and UBB style forums. This feature provides a breif summary of a thread under the reply box when replying to threads. Skins:[/u] Also Self Explanatory. There are new themes installed allowing you to select how you would like to view the forums. You can select your skin preference via your profile under Account Preferences>Select Skin. I am only going to install a couple of skins, as they do take some time to import correctly. There are currently 3 skins available right now: Default Light Midnight There is still some tweaking to be done on them, so report any problems you come across in the Bug Reports Forum: carstereo.proboards1.com/index.cgi?board=BugsThe remainder of the upgrades are taking longer than expected, so please bear with me. On the upside, our downtime durring recent upgrades has been less than 1%, so things are rolling along pretty smooth. Stay tuned, and watch for more!
